Switching hazard on when rain is a big mistake. Hazard could cause the driver behind us get his eyes tired because of the bright flicker. Furthermore, we can't activate the sign lamp when changing lane if the hazard is switched on, this could increased the risk of being hit from behind. When driving in a heavy rain, turn the fog light or normal headlights. That should be enough.
