Motorola Optimist Over Droid Sales v Apple iPhone



Motorola reveals that the company is indicating a big interest on the Droid phones bundled with Verizon Wireless, rather than the competitor Droid Incredible from HTC.

"Motorola suffers a major stock problem in the industry, same thing happened to HTC's Droid Incredible" said co-Chief Executive Sanjay Jha.

Before, the Verizon Wireless admit that they are having problem to cope with consumer's demand for Droid Incredible phones. The cause is, screen supply from Samsung Electronics is late.

"Droid sales is good. If I can produce more then more will be sold" said Jha. Unfortunately, Jha didn't inform which component from Droid was late.

Furthermore, Jha reveal that Motorola has cellphone portfolio that will be produced in the next two years. Dua to four of the new cellphones is a new handset equipped with front camera dedicated for video conference on the phone.

Predicted, this cellphones will be used by Motorola to anticipate the next generation Apple iPhone which will be launced in the next June 24. The new iPhone will also has front camera.

Before, the third celluler operator in the United States, Sprint Nextel also sells cellphones named EVO, a cellphone with high speed internet connectivity and the ability to make video conference.

According to Jha, Motorola, confirmed to support the video conference technology, although he's personally not too sure with the demand for video conference in the market.
