PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk, the the owner of Lux soap brand asserts that at Friday, June 11, 2010 Luna Maya had officially resign as Lux soap Brand Ambassador.Head of Corporate Communication PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk, Maria Dewantini Dwianto asserts about the resign at Graha Unilever, Jakarta.
"We have a talk with Luna Maya management, about the circulation of the her videos. To us, this is not profitable for both side" she explains.
The discussion between Luna Maya management with Unilever also talks about Luna Maya's status on Lux soap after the video case. The discussion done through a video conference.
"It's been done before and no problem about that" she insists.
After a long discussion through the monitor screen, Luna decided to resign from her position as Lux Brand Ambassador. According to Maria, the decision is effective immediately.
Luna Maya still has numerous agenda as Brand Ambassador. But with this resign, Unilever has to reschedule.
When asked if Luna resigned or fired, Maria didn't want to give information. "I'm sorry, it's privacy. The situation is unfavorable" she said.
