Ariel musical career is finished. The singer with full name Nazriel Ilham is threatened to be sentenced with 12 years in jail if proved to be the actor in the recent leaked videos.
"Maximum sentence is 12 years. He could be sentenced with ITE Law point 4 number 27" explain Brigadier General Zainuri Lubis, Head Division of Indonesian Police Headquarter.
Zainuri is not dare to predict whether Ariel could escape the law because the investigation is not finished yet. "He's not interrogated yet, his status is still witness now" he added.
He asked the public to be patient and not judging Ariel, Luna Maya and Cut Tari because the originality of the video still can't be determined yet.
Investigator only received information from the Information Ministry. Investigator can't determined whether the video is original or not because they are incompetent for that. It must be IT experts who concludes about it. It can be one or two IT experts" he explains.
Ariel, Luna Maya and Cut Tari will be called again to the Police Headquarter for further investigation next week. All three of them will be required to be there and be cooperative to solve the video case which shocked the public.
