KUTA - Pecatu Village, South Kuta, Bali excited by the discovery of jenglot and mermaid, but judging that it could be dangerous to keep them, the mysterious creatures allowed to float in the sea.Two jenglot and a mermaid found by the officers of Coast Tourism Board Tirta Rescue Team (Balawista). "After our consultation with indigenous peoples agreed to let them into the sea, so that these beings can return to its original place" said Wayan Somer Head of Balawista Post, Saturday (08/05/2010).
After offerings rituals complete with equipment, Somer with other officers boarded the boat to the sea to release the creatures that are believed by humans to have some sort of magic.
These measures were taken, because people worry if jenglot and mermaids are not treated well it will endanger the safety of human by creating a disaster for them.
After seeing the super mini creature, people are sure that it's Jenglot. "Every certain period, Jenglot has to be fed chicken or human blood. That's why we are concern about this" Somer explained.
The Jenglot discovery is the first in Bali, that's why it's excited the people across the coast.
He explained, yesterday he and his partner was patrol in the coast with amazing landscape, and shocked to have found a grave with yellow scarf on the hill.
"We found a grave with various flowers on it". Curious, He dig the grave and surprised to because there are two Jenglot, male and female, and a mermaid.
The mysterious discovery quickly informed to the native people, and the discussion agreed to let the creatures to the sea with a ritual.
People are curious about who owns the Jenglot.
