Alex Ferguson Denied Supporting the Red Knights

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has angrily denied reports that he gave support to the Red Knights bid to buy the club and kick the Glazers family away.

Reported that the financial experts associated with the Red Knights consortium claims that Ferguson had been willing to add his own money to controversial purchase.

"Alex Ferguson is not only supportive but be ready to bid, if successful, provide support" said a source. People also claim that the would be a "killer blow" for the Glazer family who bought Manchester United in 2005 and is now faced with massive protests from the fans because of the accumulating club debt.

However, Ferguson denied furiously that he supported the acquisition. "This is absolute rubbish. Not an ounce of truth in it" he said.

A spokesman for the U.S. to support Ferguson's statement, declared: "The Glazer and the manager (Alex Ferguson) has 100% mutual trust in each other".

Red Knights to bid for £ 1.2 billion to buy the Red Devils club, despite the Glazers Family insisting that club which is now burdened with debts of £ 716 million is not for sale.

The other senior financial expert close to the consortium said: "We all know that we have the support of Ferguson, but of course we should not embarrass him"
