Persib to Snatch South Korean U-16 Winger Lee Young Pyo

Three days ahead the transfer deadline from PT Liga Indonesia, Persib Bandung had player from South Korea among the auditioned players. The young Korean player follow the audition with Gilang Angga and others in the training session, Thursday (25/2/2010).

His name is Lee Young Pyo, Korean U-21 player, suggested by agent Eko Subekti.

Lee's father, Tae Sung Yoon said, his son's arrival to the the Maung Bandung headquarter is to fulfil the request of Persib management. "We know Persib is a major club from Mr. Eko. I already watch Persib match, outstanding" said Tae.

Tae added, he handed his son's future to the agent's management, if later be recruited by Persib Bandung. Until now, he hasn't receive any communication with Persib's management.

Tae explained that his son can play in different position. When playing at his club, Pohang Steelers Youth or South Korea National Team, Lee Young Pyo can play as right or left winger, striker, or central defender. "I see that Persib needs a winger. My son can be optimized there" he said.

Lee Young Pyo is a 19 years old player. Born at July 3, 1991. In the age of 15, he had been paid USD 35,000 as Korean U-16 player.
