INDONESIA - Laura Basuki is an actress with princip. She accept the offer to play in movies not for money, but more for her acting skill exploration."I'm not demanding much. I'm not thinking about salaries. If I'm about to make money, I better find another job. Acting is for exploration. Career, yes, but limited to hobby" said Laura, when met with Balontang at Kemang, Jakarta, Friday (19/02/2010).
Actress who is said to be looks alike with Miyabi currently playing Delia in the movie Komidi Putar. Laura is happy to have challenges. In her second movie, she has to perform Japin Dance.
"I learn Japin Dance from Arabian. I've been practicing since the start of this movie" she explained.
Komidi Putar movie is about religion difference. To Laura, the movie that also starred by Arumi Bachsin has strong points in the storyline.
"I think, simple and realistic storyline are rarely found in movies. I'm sure this movie wouldn't raises controversy because everything packed perfectly" she said.
